Salamandastron, ancestral home of the Badger Lords, is under threat from an enemy whose power would seem to be absolute and whose evil knows no bounds. Ungatt Trunn can make the stars fall from the sky, the very earth shake underfoot, and with a horde of vermin as numerous as the leaves in autumn, the wildcat appears unstoppable. The mountain's defences are weak. Who can save it now?
Salamandastron's only hope is the badger Lord Brocktree who is drawn to the fortress by an undeniable sense of destiny. If he is to rescue the mountain from the dark days of vermin rule, Brocktree must raise an army capable of combating Trunn's formidable Blue Hordes.
Badger lord from Brian Jaques Redwall series "Lord Broctree", It was one of my fave of the series ^^
Heh, that pic is enough to make me want to read some of these Redwall novels. Somebody mentioned they were good awhile back, but I can't ever remember to look for some.
Badgers badgers badgers!

*notices another he missed the first time through*
Lord Brocktree! Shimmer, is there no end to your coolness?! The Redwall series...wish he'd come out with another one. My favorite was Pearls of Lutra...that book had that one sad part where Piknim (I think that's what her name was) died and her friend sang a funeral song that makes me go all teary-eyed every time I read it. Jacques' Castaways of the Flying Dutchman series is also really good, though.
Criticalities: His sword is stubby-looking. I think. (Did he use a sword? The Badger Lords used so many different weapons over the series that I have no idea which one he used.) And his tunic makes him look chubby for some reason, which is not exactly as I would have pictured him, but perhaps that's what you had in mind...? (All that Redwall food, I'll bet ^_^)
Nice job nonetheless. Perchance you'd like to try your hand at one of the Redwallian otters? Like Taggerung or Skipper?

Merlon: Oops...um...want your Shine Sprites back?
Terra:...*can't believe he's finally in Tokyo!* No, you can keep them...*drools*
I remember reading that...it was one of the best in a while but my favorite was the original. Have you ever seen the cartoon series? It sucked!!! They completely ruined one of my favorite childhood books!! I just couldn't read them afterwards because the British animation kept popping into my mind!! Aarrrghh!! Anyways, the sword looks awkward but could easily be fixed; your musculature is, of course, very good as is the clothing his facial expression. I never really liked badgers since they always seemed too powerful against such other woodland creatures as mice, squirrels, and hares and I always favored the notion of the underdog triumphing against the hordes of rats, weasels, ferrets, stoats, and other vermin...but your work is very good.
Yeah the tv show was waaaay to dumbed down for the kiddies. I know the books are for young readers but sheese, the show was horrible. Anyway thanks for the comment!
